Policies
Privacy Policy
The care and comfort of our clients is our top priority and we are committed to protecting your privacy. The information you provide us in order to register to use our services or provide us with welcome feedback is kept confidential and not shared with any third parties. We use reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to us secure.
We may periodically send out email newsletters and promotional emails to our clients about our services and products.
Hygiene Policy
We are committed to the highest of standards in sterilization, treatment protocols, equipment and facility safety and cleanliness. All of our technicians have specialized training in treatment protocols which assure the safety of our clients.
The tools and equipment used in our nail treatments undergo hospital grade sterilization while our pipe-less CleanJet pedicure footbath ensures a worry-free pedicure. All surfaces are wiped with ACCEL and eco-and human friendly products.
Etiquette
Attire
Most people come to a day spa in very casual attire-something they can easily slip off. If modesty is an issue, please let us know in advance. Some treatments can be done while you are fully clothed. Facilities such as the sauna and steam room may be enjoyed either in a bathing suit or au natural. There are always plenty of towels and robes and slippers on hand. However, please leave as much clothing on as makes you comfortable.
Eating and Drinking
Try not to eat for at least an hour before a treatment, and avoid the consumption of alcohol on the day of a treatment. Drink plenty of water before and afterward, especially if heat therapies, such as a sauna or the steam room, are part of your spa experience.
Nudity
You never have to be unclothed in front of anyone in the spa. Wraps and robes are provided. Our staff is well trained in the “art of draping” and they leave the treatment room while you undress and dress.
Preferences
Aspects of most treatments can usually be modified to your taste: amount of light, kind (or absence) of music, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. If you want the massage therapist or esthetician to go deeper or be gentler, let him or her know. If you become uncomfortable or need specific attention at any point during your treatment, please do not hesitate to ask.
Shaving
If you want to shave before your appointment, we advise doing so at least two hours before your scheduled appointment. Please let us know if you have been using anti-aging skin products such as AHAs or acne products such as acutane as we do not do waxing on skin that has been treated with these products.
