Saunas and steam baths have been used for centuries to induce detoxification and improve mental clarity, diminish pain and promote longevity.
Infrared heat is radiant heat that heats the body directly rather than the surrounding air and penetrates more deeply without the discomfort and draining effect of conventional saunas.
Far infrared energy provides many therapeutic effects. In addition to detoxification, the other most common applications have been pain relief and healing. Infrared therapy stimulates dilation of peripheral blood vessels thus relieving pain including muscle pain and speeding the healing of sprains, strains, bursitis, and arthritis. It has also been effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia and respiratory problems. Increases in metabolic rate help you burn calories during and after your treatments.
Infrared light is also often helpful in the treatment of acne, psoriasis and eczema. Skin is left smooth with improved tone and elasticity as the sweating produced by radiant heat cleanses the pores.
We recommend that clients spend time in the infrared sauna before their spa treatment for better penetration of the products and before massages to increase their effectiveness.

Aromatherapy Steam Shower
An Aromatherapy Steam Shower is a great way to start or end any spa treatment. Relax and experience the healing benefits of heat and moist, scented air.
The moist heat helps eliminate toxins, stimulates blood circulation and opens pores, removing impurities and leaving the skin feeling soft, clean and smooth. The intense heat of the steam also helps to relax tight muscles and relieve joint soreness and stiffness. It is essential to cool off thoroughly.
Steam is especially recommended to help alleviate conditions such as bronchitis and colds.
Steam is not recommended for clients with known cardiac problems.
